Project overview


Broadtrans Civil was awarded the contract by Satterley Group to complete the next stage of their exciting development in their quality Honeywood Estate – Stage 3. The Honeywood Estate is located just 20 minutes south of Perth CBD, nestled in native Wandi Bushland.

Contracted to deliver a high quality, 72 lot sub-division within a small time frame, the scope of works included.

  • Earthworks including clearing, topsoil stripping cut to fill and export operations;
  • Installation of sewer mains up to 4 metres deep including installation and management of dewatering systems;
  • Supply and installation of stormwater drainage;
  • Installation of services including PVC water main, PE gas main, power and communications conduit and pits;
  • Construction of retaining walls including feature details; and
  • Construction of roads, including pavement construction, asphalt wearing course, kerbing, footpaths and brick paving.

Client Comment

Broadtrans Civil first became involved in the Honeywood projects when they undertook the remediation of the first builders’ display village, and later when they prepared the primary school site for the first phase of development. 

Broadtrans Civil have just completed construction of the 72 lots which comprise Honeywood Rise Stage 3.

Our faith in Broadtrans has been well founded having completed Stage 3 on time, within budget and contract value, and to a very high standard of workmanship.

Of great importance to Satterley has been Broadtrans clear and proactive service mentality and their willingness to assist by undertaking minor works required to keep our clients happy. It has been a pleasure working with Gavan, Paul, Rod and the Broadtrans Civil team.
